Tips for Peanut Better Butter Cookies

Making sure that you has plenty of butter in your butter cookie dough and that you let it rest in your refrigerator for a couple of hours, or more preferably overnight, is the key to good butter cookies.

When the dough is cold, you don’t need to add extra flour, to make it roll out easier. This also prevents your butter cookies from being dry and tasteless, as well.

It’s easy to adapt your butter cookies to the present holiday as well. For example, around Christmas time, you could add cinnamon into the dough and for Easter, you could add a bit of lemon extract. The combinations are endless and only your imagination and taste sets the boundaries!
