The basic ingredient for this recipe is obviously potato. You will need four of them. Peel it completely and slice it into thin slices. You will also need salt and three cups of vinegar. Make sure you use white vinegar variety for this recipe. In order to make the potato chips have crispy texture, you will also need a cup of cold water. To fry the potato chips, you need two cups of oil. It is highly recommended to use vegetable oil variety due to its nutritional value and taste. After all of the ingredients are prepared, you can start to make the potato chips.

Directions :

  1. Soak potato slices you have prepared before in cold water. Let it there for about 20 minutes.
  2. After that, drain it completely. Use paper towel to pat dry the sliced potato. Soak the potato slice for the second time in cold water.
  3. This time, add white vinegar on the cold water. Refrigerate it for half of an hour. Deep fry the potato slices after you take it out from the refrigerator.
  4. Next, dry the oil out of potato slices you just fry. Season it with salt by spreading it over the potato chips.
