Pineapple Diet

Diet plan for five days:

  • Breakfast: Two-three slices of pineapple and a Green tea (without sugar or with diet sweetener);
  • Snack: A glass of pineapple juice (preferably, a home-made juice);
  • Lunch: Vegetable soup and a piece of grilled fish or chicken;
  • Snack: Pineapple juice and a pineapple low-fat yogurt;
  • Dinner: Five slices of pineapple.

Advantages of the pineapple diet:

  • The cooked meals that you consume during the diet with pineapple are easily and rapidly made.

Disadvantages of the pineapple diet:

  • It’s a dull diet;
  • During the diet with pineapple, your body doesn’t retain as many liquids and it lacks a series of nutrients. That’s why it’s important to be careful with what you consume when you come back to your regular diet because all the weight you have lost could easily be restored.
  • The diet should be kept for a long time because the pineapple doesn’t ensure all the nutrients the body needs. Kept for long periods of time, the diet increases the risk of cardiovascular afflictions, renal problems and could even lead to muscle loss. Also, it can nurture anxiety and a general state of ill-being.
