Ingredients for almond macaroons :

  • 1½ cup of ground toasted almonds
  • 3 egg whites
  • ½ teaspoon of almond extract
  • ¼ cup of flour
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • and 1 cup of sugar

The ingredients for peanut bar are :

  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup of light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1¾ cup of rice cereal
  • 1½ cup of rolled oats
  • and ¼ raisins or chocolate chips.

How to Make it :

To make the almond macaroons, first you need to preheat the oven to 165° C and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper on it. Next, the almond, flour, and salt are combined in a small bowl. In a larger bowl, Whisk the egg whites with almond extract and gradually add sugar ¼ at a time to the egg whites.

Fold the mixture in the small bowl to the whites and the dough from it can be spooned to the prepared sheet in the sizes you want.Finally, bake it for 8 minutes and cool it in a rack for 3 minutes.

For the peanut bars, first of all coat the baking pan with cooking spray. After that, combine sugar, peanut butter, and corn syrup in a bowl and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Subsequently, take the bowl out from the microwave and stir vanilla extract, cereal, oats, and raisins or chocolate chips in it. When it is mixed well, press it to the pan. Lastly, cool the pan and cut it into bars.
