Cactus pear is a fruit of the nopales cactus plant. It kinda looks like a pear, and that is the reason why it is commonly known as prickly pear. However, the character and the smell are alike to watermelon. And the seeds of this fruit very similar with kiwi’s seed. The color of this fruit is wonderful. And just like the rose, sometimes it’s really hard to separate the beauty and the pain.

You’ll need 4 cactus pear, I cup of ice cubes, 2 limes (squeeze it), about 1-inch ginger, 1 tablespoon of honey, I cup of cold water, and 2 or 3 tablespoons of raspberry syrup. Throw it all in your juicer machine together with the ice cube and keep it in the freezer for about 30 minutes. There you go! We are ready for a sweet magenta color of cactus pear juice.
